Training and capacity strenghthening

There is an urgent need for modelling expertise globally

Globally, the demand for mathematical modelling skills currently outstrips the supply of trained and experienced modellers. It is therefore imperative to train a new generation of modellers. It is also essential to support existing modellers through capacity strengthening, especially modellers from low- and middle-income countries, to help ensure equitable research in global health.
